Based on Message from 7/19/20 – Now Is The Time! @TTSC.tv

1.  Cultivate the practice of Mindfulness.
Commit to specified times each day to practice this for 5 minutes.
Approach this time with curiosity.
Simply Pause.
Become aware of your breath and breathing.
Notice what you notice – sights, sounds, feelings, thoughts.
Consider the following questions for journaling:

  • What thoughts do I notice?
  • What beliefs do my thoughts reflect?
  • If this thought were true, what must I believe?  OR What must I believe for this thought to be true for me?
  • Is that belief true?
  • How do I feel when I believe that thought?
  • How do I feel when I let it go?Simply notice … with curiosity.  Try not to judge what arises.

2.   Life Structures.
A “Structure” is a systematic framework or arrangement of parts that creates or supports an organization or whole system.  Examples of structures can range from societal structures (economic, political, educational) to personal or family structures (how you organize your day, your life, your relationships, how you have met the needs of daily living).

Structures can be “positive” and supportive (a career you love) or they can be “negative” and harmful (systemic racism or sexism).

Include “structures” as a framework of thoughts and belief systems by which you organize your life.

  1. Identify the outer structures that have changed  or “collapsed”) for you in the last four months.
  2. How have you experienced this?
  3. Am I okay with this change?
  4. Does it bring me joy?
  5. Does it elicit fear?
  6. Identify the belief system that supported that structure.
  7. What thoughts do I notice about this structure collapsing?
  8. Where have I derived my identity from this structure?
Do I believe this structure is the Source of my safety, happiness, livelihood?
  9. If this thought were true, what must I believe?  OR What must I believe for this thought to be true for me?
  10. Is that belief true?
  11. How do I feel when I believe that thought?
  12. How do I feel when I let it go?
  13. Is there another way of looking at this situation?

3.  Contemplate and Affirm:

I am willing to come out from among this thought system where I believe (identify the key belief).  I deny the power this (thought system) has in my life.

I choose the thoughts of God (Love, Peace, Truth.
Now is the Time!
The Peace of God is shining in me now.
I allow all things to shine upon me in that peace.
I extend my blessing of light to all.

4.  Meditation @TTSC.tv

Resources & Materials that Inspired this Lesson:

  • 2 Corinthians 6 (NRSV) – Paraphrased unless “quoted”.

“See, now is the acceptable time; see, now is the day of salvation!”

Do not be mismatched with your unbelief.
What partnership is there between Reality and illusion?
What fellowship is there between light and darkness?
What agreement can the temple of God have with false idols (distractions)?

You are the Temple of the Living God, who says:
I live in them and walk with them.
Therefore, come out from among your belief systems of fear and limitation.
Welcome My thought system … Thoughts of God, of Love, of your true Self.
I AM with you always.

  • A Course In Miracles Lesson 188:
The peace of God is shining in me now.

Sit quietly and close your eyes.  The light within you is sufficient.  It alone has power to give the gift of sight to you.  Exclude the outer world and let your thoughts fly to the peace within.  They know the way.  For honest thoughts, untainted by the dream of worldly things outside yourself, become the holy messengers of God.  These thoughts you think with [God].  They recognize their home.  And they point surely to their Source [where God and You are one].

The peace of God is shining in me now.
Let all things shine upon me in that peace,

And let me bless them with the light in me.
